Chocolate Pumpkin Ice Cream

This is a great ice cream for pumpkin and chocolate lovers. The recipe is easy to make and does not require the use of an ice cream machine.

Ingredients

  • Melted chocolate for serving ( optional)

For the Ice Cream

  • ยฝ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • ยพ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ยผ cup grated dark chocolate
  • ยฝ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ยผ tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. First whisk the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

  2. Mix all the remaining ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream.

  4. Pour the mixture in a container.

  5. Cover with plastic wrap to the surface and put the lid on.

  6. Place in a freezer for few hours, preferably overnight.

  7. Serve with melted chocolate on top ( optional).

Recipe Notes

  • The total time in this recipe didnโ€™t include the freezing time.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup pumpkin ice cream
  • ยฝ cup whole milk
  • ยฝ tsp pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  1. Peel off the banana, slice it and toss it in a blender.
  2. Add in the remaining ingredients.
  3.  Blend on high speed for few seconds until smooth. You may need to add sweetener if you have used another type of ice cream.
  4. Pour in a cup and serve.
