Vanilla Chocolate Cream Dessert

This is an excellent dessert that can please your sweet tooth. You can obviously make the vanilla cream and chocolate cream separately but this is a great way to have both vanilla and chocolate flavors in one cup.
This is chocolate cream dessert only.

Vanilla Chocolate Cream Dessert

Ingredients

For the vanilla cream

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extractย 

For the chocolate cream

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Put the vanilla cream ingredients in a saucepan.

  2. Put the chocolate cream ingredients in another saucepan.

  3. Put both saucepans over medium low heat.

  4. Stir the ingredients constantly using both of your hands. The right hand to stir in the first saucepan and the left hand to stir in the second saucepan.

  5. Stir until you obtain a nice thick cream.

  6. Using your two hands, one to hold the first saucepan with the vanilla cream and the second hand to hold the second saucepan with the chocolate cream.

  7. Pour both creams simultaneously in cups

  8. Let cool.

  9. Serve.

Recipe Notes

  • For a better presentation, you can wet the edges of your cups with water ( using your finger), then dip the cups in grated chocolate or vanilla sugar. Fill the cups after that with the Cream dessert.

Lemon Lime sorbet

Ingredients
2 cups simple syrup
1 cup water
3 small lime juice and zest
3 medium lemon juice
Sugar if needed

Preparation
This recipe does not require an ice cream maker, however the freezing time does increase.
1-In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except sugar. You may need to add sugar to taste if desired.
2- Put the mixture in a dish and refrigerate for minimum six hours.
3- Take out the dish from the freezer and break down the lemon lime mixture.
4- Mix well with the spoon or a mixer.
5- Put the same dish with the lemon lime mixture in the freezer again for minimum one hour.
6- Scoop with the ice cream scooper into serving cups or lemon and lime shells.
7-Serve.
