Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Place pumpkin seeds in a colander and wash under running water.
Let drain.
Place the seeds on a kitchen towel or paper towel. Press with a paper towel to dry them well.
Mix the seeds with salt, pumpkin pie spice and olive oil in a bowl.
Roast the seeds in a middle rack for about 20 to 25 minutes at 300 °F or until golden brown. Make sure to keep an eye on them.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Place pumpkin seeds in a colander and wash under running water. Remove the large pieces of the stringy pumpkin pulp and rinse until the seeds separate from the pulp.

  2. Drain and dry the seeds on a towel. Press with a paper towel to dry them well.
  3. Toss the seeds in a bowl.
  4. Add in salt, pumpkin pie spice and olive oil. Mix well.
  5. Put the seeds in a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, single layered.

  6. Roast in a middle rack for about 20 to 25 minutes at 300 °F or until golden brown. Make sure to keep an eye on them.

  7. Enjoy.
