Nilla Wafers Mummies ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

These mummies (Nilla wafers)ย are easy to make and can be a great activity for kids.You can use eyeballs or simply replace them with red food coloring by soaking the end of a Q-tip in red food coloring to make dots (eyes), but would you dare and eat them!

Ingredients

  • 12 Mini Nilla wafers
  • 24 eyeballs
  • 6 oz vanilla almond bark
  • Red food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt almond bark in a double boiler or microwave.
  2. Dip the top of mini wafers in melted almond bark.
  3. Shake off excess almond bark.
  4.  Let them cool in the fridge for 5 minutes.
  5. Put extra melted almond bark in a piping bag with a very small opening.
  6. Drizzle melted almond bark over the coated mini wafers to get the mummy wrap look.
  7. Place 2 eyeballs in each mummy wafer.
  8.  Refrigerate to allow almond bark to set.
  9. Once almond bark set, dip your finger in a red food coloring and make the mummies look spookier (optional) by staining them with the red food coloring.
  10.  Serve.

  1. Wow! I would have never thought to do this with vanilla wafers. When I think of vanilla wafers, the first thing that comes to my mind is banana pudding lol. Genius idea!

  2. I’m loving all these creative and creepy ideas! The ones with no eyes are so funny – I’ve never heard of Nilla wafers but will certainly look around!
