Ingredients

  • 8 pieces chicken
  • 2 tbsp rosemary
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 stick melted butter
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Brush the chicken with butter in both sides.
  3. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper in both sides. Coat the chicken with paprika and rosemary in both sides as well. The seasoning is really a personal choice.
  4. Place the chicken in a baking dish, single layered and put it in the oven (oven rack set to middle position).
  5.  Bake for about 30 minutes, then flip the chicken pieces over and put back in oven for 15 minutes.
  6. Take out from the oven and take out the chicken juice by using a turkey baster and flip over the chicken pieces.
  7. Brush generously to coat the chicken with your favorite barbecue sauce.
  8. Put back in oven for 10 minutes.
  9.  Take the chicken out from the oven and flip sides, then coat the other side with barbecue sauce. Remove any excess liquid in the bottom of the baking dish.
  10.  Put back in the oven for 10 minutes.
  11. Take out from the oven and flip over the chicken to brush it for the last time with barbecue sauce.
  12.  Pop it in the oven for the last 10 minutes. Put it to broil for about 2 to 3 minutes until the top is caramelized.
  13. Serve.
