Ingredients
3 slices wheat bread or any type of bread
1 large egg
¼ cup whole milk
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1/8 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp butter at room temperature
Maple syrup for serving
Instructions
Whisk the egg with the pinch of salt in a shallow dish, then add in the milk, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Mix to combine.
Heat a skillet over medium heat, then grease it with butter(let it melt).
Dip the bread quickly in the egg mixture, in both sides.
Cook the bread in the skillet for 2 to 3 minutes and flip it over to cook the other side.
Serve with maple syrup (or any other type).
